nice to meet ya!

I’m Samm Langer! I’m a creative director and graphic designer with over a decade of experience in the industry. My primary focus has been in the exciting world of video games and esports, where I’ve had the pleasure of working on a wide range of projects across multiple platforms.

As a versatile designer, I’ve worked on everything from editorial layout design (six+ years) and broadcast graphics (100+ shows/events) to website design and publishing. I’m also skilled in marketing asset creation, video direction, animation direction, team management and making sure all parts fall into one cohesive piece. My passion lies in crafting dynamic and engaging visual experiences that bring brands to life and connect with audiences on a deeper level.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the biggest names in the gaming industry, including Riot Games, Game Informer Magazine, Activision Blizzard, Psyonix, Odyssey Games, and many others. I believe that design is not just about aesthetics, but about creating a seamless user experience that enhances the overall product. Whether it’s a website, a marketing campaign, or a tournament, my goal is to always elevate the brand and deliver exceptional results.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my portfolio, and I hope you enjoy my work!

Beyond just who I am as creative director, I have many other interests and hobbies. I still game when time allows between work, trying new recipes and reading, I read a lot. A lot. I live with my husband and our two kitties at our wonderful little home in St. Paul, Minnesota. We are slowly turning it into a homestead, so the projects are endless.

Really, like everyone else I’m just trying to explore this tiny orb we all live on as much as I can and live a healthy, happy life. My life and what I fill it with continuously changes as I age, which I do view as a good thing. Our experiences should change us and hopefully for the better, but life is not about being stagnant, it’s about living it vibrantly and loving what you do.

who? lil ol’ me?
