Game Informer Website

One summer, one designer and two coders to make an entirely new site

Working on Gameinformer.com was both enjoyable and challenging. The difficulty stemmed from the fact that this project was an addition to my regular duties at Game Informer. However, myself and two other individuals were determined to complete it, and we succeeded. After numerous back-and-forths and revisions, we managed to create a site that functions seamlessly for editors, is adaptable to all screens, and features images with semi-consistent ratios, reducing the need for extensive image creation. One of the most challenging aspects was figuring out how to transfer all content from the old site to the new one.

Disclaimer: Since working on this project, Game Informer has made updates to both branding and a few UI items. However, the fundamental structure of what I created remains intact.
